On the day, the burial typically follows directly after the funeral service, with a hearse taking your loved one to Choa Chu Kang Cemetery for a graveside committal, often including a short reading or prayer appropriate to your family's faith. Afterward, we guide your family through arranging a grave marker or headstone, on whatever timeline feels right.

Choosing The Right Plot & Section

Plot allocation at Choa Chu Kang Cemetery is handled by NEA according to religious section and availability, rather than being something a family selects freely from a map. When that period ends, NEA issues an exhumation notice to the next-of-kin, giving the family a window to respond before the process proceeds. This applies uniformly across the cemetery and isn't a reflection of anything specific to an individual grave.

When an exhumation notice arrives, we manage the entire process: liaising with NEA on scheduling, arranging for the remains to be respectfully exhumed, and coordinating the next step, almost always cremation, followed by placement of the ashes in a columbarium or return to the family.
